The Garden City Orchestra is a friendly community orchestra in Christchurch - an ensemble with a great repertoire and a supportive approach. Our members include enthusiastic musicians ranging from young to adult and amateur to professional. We rehearse weekly and endeavor to perform two concerts every year, plus gigs at community events.

Join us:
There's always space for new members in our orchestra. Young or old, amateur or professional- you are welcome to join the orchestra at any time throughout the year.
We especially need upper strings, brass, and bassoon. We are at or near capacity in the woodwind sections - please get in touch to check.
We rehearse Thursdays from 7.15 - 9.15pm at the Fendalton Community Centre.
